    I’ll tell you my little story. When I was fully immersed in it (you were sent home if you uttered a full sentence in English), I started dreaming in Irish. It was an amazing experience.

    My mind had just switched and I loved it. I was 14 at the time and I still remember that. I had some trouble reverting to English after I came home. The more I switched over the years the less hassle it was. I never dreamt in Irish after the initial burst.

    Conversely, I know a French lad about twenty years now who’s been immersed in English longer than that and it’s only in the last few years that he mostly dreams in English.
