While the United States has pledged to eliminate forced and child marriage by the year 2030, there are still 34 states where child marriage is still permitted.
This must be some shit that happens out in the sticks. I have lived my whole life in a metropolitan city and have never heard of a child marriage. 🤷♂️
Considering it’s a thing in a great number of countries, including parts of Canada, my question to you is: how did you not know?
