If you already have a PC you probably have no real reason to get one as you can already upgrade your existing PC for less (or more power) by reusing some parts. I suspect this is more for people that are looking to get into PC gaming or are currently using laptops.

Also, its just a PC. Loads of companies make PCs. I worked in one before, we had a staff count of 2 and the PC building was part time. Obviously valve have greater R&D funds than we did so they can afford to make their own custom form factor.

This probably will be more powerful, and a value added upgrade, for over half of Steam’s users.

If you have a PC already the cost to upgrade to a £900 PC is going to be less than £900 if you are able to reuse some existing parts. Case and fans are probably going to be easy to reuse, PSU quite likely too.

Oh cool, you have a motherboard with two WiFi 7 antennas and dual chip Bluetooth that also fits inside a 3.5 l case with a low noise cooling solution, that also happens to boot on controller input? Just ready to just, I don’t know, upgrade to a graphics card that is not even for sale to consumers?
