I’m a woman who indiscriminately showers compliments on people everywhere I go. It’s a nervous habit I have, to shift attention from myself to others.
I can also read the room and determine when my compliment-showering begins to annoy people. Because there’s something slightly autistic/ socially awkward about the way I compliment people everywhere all the time.
But at first people do appreciate the compliments because perhaps there’s a shortage of compliments in the world.
It’s still nice. Honestly, the reciprocation of appreciation/affection is its own glamour filter. The girl who thinks I’m hot is made hotter as a result.
I’m an awkward love bomber, for sure. But I think my colleagues have figured me out and they let it slide. Thankfully I can read the room and dial back the love bombing, then search for different ways to direct my nervous energy.
They are genuine compliments. But I get autistically-fixated on the thing and every time I see the person I lose my mind over how amazing their xyz thing is, and I’m really harmlessly weird with over-complimenting people 😂
The compliments are for makeup, shoes, hair, fashion, I even compliment people on their personality traits, intellect etc 🤣🤷🏼♀️

Too much can seem like love bombing, but genuine compliments are so rare!
