Fuck. Bike helmets do not protect you from automobile collisions. They are fucking styrofoam. They protect you from falling over while standing still. THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE LITERALLY DESIGNED FOR. If you want protection from automobiles, you need a motorcycle helmet or a helmet as worn by race drivers. A bike helmet won’t do shit, isn’t designed to do shit in that situation.
