I’m not saying people should have sympathy for the farmers, but consider the real implications of wishing bankruptcy on them.
Its part of the playbook for the system to bankrupt small farmers and buy up all the land. Maybe we should not cheer that on, no matter how shitty the individual farmers are

But yeah, as much as I feel like slapping them I wish we could help them keep the land. Let em go bankrupt, then, if we actually have a next administration, nationalize all farmland, convert them into local/regional co-ops where workers can vote on how things are run, if agro corps complain, nationalize them too.
