That was me as I was saving up for mine. Ended up having and getting a cheaper but still decent one, but for a while I was definitely a part of that subset. And yes, a lot of my purchases were absolutely driven by FOMO. Honestly don’t regret any of them though. The not-so-great ones were cheap anyways
