In the OG movie “what we do in the shadows” there’s two cops that show up and get hypnotized, they’re the two main characters in Wellington Paranormal.
So every episode is like a monster of the week type deal where they bumble thru paranormal investigations. It’s arguably better than the mainstream American spinoff, but much lesser known. And obviously without the star-studded castings.
Apparently it got taken off HBO recently, but it’s a big ocean and everythings out there if you’re brave enough to sail.

For anyone interested in checking out Wellington Paranormal, know that watching that film first is not necessary for continuity. Yes, they are the same characters with the same exact demeanor and everything that they have on the show, but their scene in the film didn’t introduce any back story or anything that would leave you confused if you skipped it.
My ship stayed in harbour only for a short time, but is sailing the high seas again since a few years.
What you described is part of the reason for that.
So, I will definitely give the series a try, sounds good!

They wrote on their foreheads in S2E4 “Copy Cops”, to distinguish themselves from the “clones”!
I don’t have a good memory or anything, I just watched it recently.
Oh yeah, I was just making a joke about remembering Minouge.
