The Senate will vote next week on a bipartisan war powers resolution to block Trump from continuing military against Venezuela — a vote that takes on heightened importance after U.S. forces attacked the South American nation and arrested President Nicolás Maduro early Saturday.
The resolution to block the administration from engaging in further hostilities against Venezuela is privileged, which means Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) cannot stop it from coming to the floor.
The measure is sponsored by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

So the democrats will do nothing because they’re owned by the same oligarchs and Israeli AIPAC money that the republicans are. The few honest ones will put up a fight but their wings are clipped by the corrupt majority. If they manage to even get close to a victory a few dirty democrats will magically vote with the republicans. Going back to Iraq and Afghanistan the democrats and republicans made a killing on insider trading and no bid contracts. It’s a big club and you and I ain’t in it, It’s all smoke and mirrors. Again it all boils down to shareholder profits.
You “both sides” douchebags are why we’re in this mess.
You don’t vote for them, they can’t do anything. That’s how that works, you simple-minded dumbass.
Is it both sides-ing to shout “DO SOMETHING!” at democrats?
Genuinely what could the Democrats actually accomplish in the current situation? They don’t have the power. We, the voting public, made sure of that.
The vast majority of our politicians are owned by Israel https://www.trackaipac.com/
Thems be the facts. I’ve been watching the country ratchet right for over 40 years and I always vote for the less evil option.
Democrats say they’ll stand against Trump, they continue to vote for his appointees. Trump does something highly illegal and should be impeached because that’s their fucking job, not a whisper of support.
