The popups after logins and others are engineered (deceptively IMO), to lead you into more MSFT products. They intentionally hide or obscure anything, but the outcome they want sometimes.

Funny, I hear this all the time but never see it.
Then again, I use Windows Pro only. Never use Windows home. Paying for pro is worth it.
