I think it’s a combination of various things.
First, those that have stronger opinions are those that are more probable to post and comment, so most of the milder opinions get muted because it is not worth the effort.
Then you have to add the attention seekers and fear mongers.
I’m sure it’s not that many people compared to those that read whatever and moved on. It would be nice to see the analytics.
I wasn’t talking of making them available or anything like that. I was referring to seeing the ratio of people that saw a post versus those that commented or something like that, my bet is that they make a ridiculously small percentage.

I just worry analytics would be behind a wall or selectively released.
False data could be more harmful than just not knowing.
