    Cops are notoriously bad at their jobs, but they don’t really need the federal government’s permission to investigate.

      The feds have all the evidence, as well as access to the murderer who they’ve surely already removed from the state.

        Oh, they don’t have all the evidence. I’ve seen multiple videos of the shooting, we know the license plate, there are witnesses, etc.

        The feds aren’t going to help, but what’s to stop them from opening a tip line about who the guy is like the feds did for Luigi?

        Go to the hotel where the secret police are staying and subpoena their records.

        There are still things the cops could do if they wanted to.
