It’s linked in the post here on lemmy: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46686338 I think basically what’s happened is that someone stumbled into the DDG url with AI turned off (https://noai.duckduckgo.com/), seen the thing that says “we’ve turned off AI answers” and misunderstood whats happened.
