I’d like to, whenever possible, move away from women’s issues or men’s issues towards people’s issues.

Here’s a lil’ secret for ya: Affecting change requires you to apply continued pressure. Only when single voices become a chorus will the powerful listen. So yes, Greta is saying what we all you already knew. But that’s a good thing. The more say it, the bigger the pressure.
“You are undermining men controlling their wives family values!”
He is just so fucking weak-minded. He got cyber-bullied by Putin. He turned into Trump’s lapdog. And the next day he gotta fire random employees of his to feel in control again. Piss baby aptly describes his state of mind.
I think Lemmy/Mbin would benefit from ‘moderation pools’. The basic idea is that, if you subscribe to or join a moderation pool, your instance will automatically copy any moderation action taken on content your instance also hosts. This would allow multiple single-admin instances to moderate even during off-hours of any single admin.
Genuinely curious: Has accelerationist theory ever worked out? Does the rise and fall of Nazi Germany count as an example where it “worked out”?
This is correct, but as useful as saying “A PC can be explained by the ones and zeros on the hard drive”.
This article is getting saved, for the next time some idiot proposes ‘lawful backdoors’, which will inevitably happen.
Then charmeleon must change more than just the user agent
What works? YT on Firefox or YT on Firefox when the user agent is changed?
I use Charmeleon, with the effects described above.
Youtube currently (for weeks now) does not work on Firefox, if you don’t use a Firefox user agent. Google doing sketchy things again.
It’s the truth. Putin wanted this war and the Russian people have been indoctrinated into following him blindly. The allied carpet-bombings of Nazi Germany caused untold suffering, but they were necessary to break the German will to fight. Hitler could’ve stopped the carpet bombing by surrendering. He could’ve prevented them from ever occurring, if he hadn’t started wars with all neighbouring countries. Just as Hitler then, Putin now can stop this war. And it is Putin that could’ve prevented this war from ever taking place, if he hadn’t invaded. But he did invade Ukraine. The untold number of crimes against humanity have been committed by the Russian army under his watch and it was his decision to send over 600.000 Russian troops to get crippled or killed in Ukraine. It is his war that just caused this man to lose his wive and three daughters (trigger warning: r*ddit). I truly hold no sympathy for any Russian that chooses to participate in this invasion. Whatever happens to them, they deserve it.
“They did it first and continue to do it” is a pretty good reason in my book. The more decicive Russian losses are, the faster public sentiment will turn against Putin.
If your enemy makes it very clear that they want to see you dead and your nation destroyed no matter the cost, why should you be beholden to giving them an advantage? Ukraine won’t win with moral superiority.
Russia is already using thermite charges, thermobaric weapons and tear gas. They get what’s coming to them.
Discoverability is an issue that I identified quickly. One reason why artists mostly stick to X may very well be the small user base, as well the fractured nature of the fediverse making it hard to gain reach
It’s great to see that Sanders is so popular. It’s sad to see that politicians of his caliber are so rare that if he ever retires, his absence will be painful.
