Someone should tip them off that Musk paid people for their votes in Wisconsin.
How is that under ICE’s purview?
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) plans to pay data broker giant Thomson Reuters $125 million for access to its databases of personal data
Article cites DHS rather than ICE, so the parent org rather than immigration enforcement. Why DHS would be doing that, finding blue-voting brown people is the simplest answer.
It’s also possible that DHS and Thomson Reuters do nothing and just stealing another 125 million of taxpayer money.
What?
I lean right, but this is ridiculous, I’m sorry. First of all, this isn’t ICE’s job. The FBI should be digging into this, not ICE, perhaps with the help of the CIA if they suspect international involvement with voter fraud.
Second of all, why the heck are we paying Reuters to find the fraud instead of finding it ourselves? That sounds fraudulent in and of itself!
Bro come get your nazis
Dude I’m trying lol but it’s so hard
I lean right
how and why?
Most of the US does lean right. Our Overton window has shifted quite a lot in the last 50 or so years. 70 or so years? This is illustrated by the fact that we don’t have an anarchist party, or socialist party, or even communist party.
Like. Technically you can lean right by supporting things like small government, curtailing spending and lowering taxes.
We very often assume that “leaning right” means being Alt Right. They didn’t say they were MAGA or a Trump Supporter.
They also have a point. Voter fraud is something that should be investigated by the correct agency with the right resources and scope to do the job and ICE isn’t that agency.
That being said I believe there have been investigations into voter fraud and they basically haven’t uncovered anything.

When it comes to political policy stances, I’m pro life, support limited/small government, am fiscally conservative, support capitalism, oppose crime, and am a pretty big fan of constitutional rights like the first and second amendment.
when you say “pro life” what do you actually mean?
do you just personally not want to have an abortion yourself, or do you advocate for criminalizing abortion for others?
It should be illegal in all cases unless it’s necessary to prevent or get rid of a life-threatening medical condition for the mother.
Human beings who haven’t done anything don’t deserve to be killed.
Thank you. I vehemently disagree with you but appreciate the honesty.
I disagree with you, and your way of expressing, but it’s refreshing to see different opinions on Lemmy. Cheers.
Thanks! I don’t get that often on here TBH.
Edit: The civility, not the disagreements, lol
Set up separate departments with common overlapping jurisdictions so that they compete, its worked before.
Well there Tommy Tuberville and Ken Paxton. Where’s my 125 million dollars now?
