An emboldened fringe of right-wing “manosphere” influencers has seized on Donald Trump’s presidential win to justify and amplify misogynistic derision and threats online.

And what do you think that means?

A specific ring of misogynistic male influencers. Not men in general. If you generally struggle with nuance, maybe this example will help: all squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares. Same with the manosphere. All are men, but not all men are part of it.

Let me rephrase it so you can better understand simple sentences.

        It’s not just the men/man/male influencers/manosphere, it’s the magasphere.

I forget how people online need to have everything spelled out for them.

What are you talking about? The manosphere is a distinctly separate collection of people composed of influencers and their followers who obsess over manliness and macho stereotypes.

A very specific subset of reactionary misogynists with public platforms.

      Why?

Do you think it just means men?
