I once had the weirdest ocular migraine, I could not see noses. In person or pictures. Like they were just 'shopped out. Lasted about an hour. Weirdest damn thing.
That is an aura, I experience them about half an hour before a migraine like a warning of what is to come. Quite unsettling when driving, better stop and wait until it passes.
