Ai is struggling to make a business case for businesses and users alike. This probably had nothing to do with the Dem victory and more to do with the market correcting itself.

And the market only corrected back to April 2026. All the election results sound bites are going to play great on Fox, though.
“The big election outcome was, especially with the Democrats winning a lot of the governorships, that the slowdown of the data center buildout is the real key theme that’s going to stick,” said Michael O’Rourke, chief market strategist at JonesTrading in Stamford, Connecticut.
It’d be tragic if anyone took a second to consider anything beyond how fast they can throw more capacity online. People need to blindly charge ahead, the future is future somebody-else’s problem…
