There were only cartoon noises and it might have just been simulwted but I keep wondering what cartoon the sounds were of?
@Discover says “Jerky Turkey”, the cartoon short from 1945
The cartoon they’re watching is called Jerky Turkey from 1945. Link: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WesternAnimation/JerkyTurkey
Holy crap, pays to ask, wow :) Thanks
How the heck did you know that or find that out tho?
Haha no problem! I’m a big fan of Sunny, I have the majority of it on my phone to watch offline on my work breaks or falling asleep, etc. I knew they showed a clip of that cartoon in the episode so I just went to it, took a screenshot, and reverse image searched it 😂
Ur a clever, wily sumbitch. I should have figured it would be something old and cheap to license or whatever. Just like the iconic and public domain soundtrack haha.
They were almost definitely just random noises, I don’t reckon they’ll have paid to license an actual cartoon for that bit
The sounds were probably stock library ones similar to stock images.
This would likely be true even if it was a real cartoon, for the most part they draw from the sound effects library of whatever studio is working on the project.
I just mean like is it from something or evocative of some more specific cartoon reference
Unless anyone recognizes the specific sounds being used it’s probably not anything that can be answered definitively without asking whoever did sound design for the episode, or maybe seeing the script.
@Discover is saying Jerky Turkey, just listening now
Figured
The anime you find the most overrated.
