Experts say white supremacists have benefited from president’s policies but anger remains among neo-Nazis
Donald Trump has faced an onslaught of criticism from opponents and Maga diehards alike, on issues such as Jeffrey Epstein, the war with Iran, and his steadfast alliance with Israel in the face of genocide. But among the ever dangerous far right, which has generally applauded Trump’s efforts to deport thousands of people a day, his actions of late have stirred rage among a group experts say has benefited greatly from his administration’s law-enforcement pivots.
The FBI, headed by Trump acolyte Kash Patel, has reassigned the jobs of thousands of agents and eviscerated parts of the bureau tasked with investigating rightwing extremists that are considered the most dangerous domestic security threat facing the US today. Those same types, which includes a locus of fascist street-fighting gangs known as active clubs and accelerationist neo-Nazis, increasingly view Trump as an enemy, but are freer than ever to organize – almost entirely due to changes instituted in his latest presidency.
They won’t. Even if they’re angry with him, they undoubtedly realize that his policies, on a whole, benefit them.
Why is everyone forgetting the actual attempt on Trump’s life by a little right-wing shit? It was just a year ago.
Do they?
Remember that it’s people like this that believed there was a left-leaning pedophile ring based out of the basement of a single level pizza restaurant. Fact checking isn’t high on the list of many people who follow such ideologies.
They’re not the upper 1%. These policies don’t benefit them.
Dismantling the FBI’s domestic counter-terrorism monitoring of the far-right absolutely benefits them. They won’t see any financial gain. But they’ll stay out of jail as they commit hate crimes or get off with a slap on the wrist. Not mass-shooters, mind you. But a lot of others committing smaller, less spotlighty crimes.
You think all of his supporters are terrorists?
I don’t think they will because there are 350,000,000 Americans in this country and the two assassination attempts were clearly plants.
Out of 350,000,000 Americans at least a few of them are looking for a way to halt the regime. The problem isn’t people being angry enough or benefitting too much. it’s lack of opportunity.
Hitler survived 42 attempted assassinations. Possibly more. That was with a population of ~80,000,000.
Trump is gaurded far better than Hitler was, has access to far more resources than Hitler did, and his circle of trust seems to be far more exclusive than Hitlers. The heritage foundation has been running this show under different names for well over two centuries. This is a game that authority has lost time and time again, but the scales get larger and larger each time.
