      It was!

      He was considering firing her and she found out about it, so she was in tears during the meeting and said “If it was anyone else in this position they would have walked years ago due to the goings-on in the office, but it is only because of you two dickheads that I stayed.”

    IANAL, but in the US, where we have at will employment, I feel like this case wouldn’t be an issue. Maybe you’re owed unemployment benefits for “being let go”, but it’s debatable.
