Fair point. In this case, the adults who voted for Trump may go bankrupt, but they nor their families will starve, ironically because of the social programs they are also likely opposed to. In Gaza, even the adults have less access to education that might give them a chance of critical thinking, and the children are dying. That’s not funny in any way. So I suppose it’s a matter of degrees, but it’s such a different degree that it’s hard for me to see it as similar.
