I don’t disagree with that, but more to the point I was putting is there’s going to be a fast refugee crisis for the blue states for those of us that see the writing on the wall if the states fracture.

I’ll be honest… I HOPE I’m wrong… god I fucking hope I am… but I’m not seeing a “United States” being the case much longer after this administration. Partly being one living in this area… I do not see how we come back… there is no middle ground left.

There hasn’t been that much real middle ground for a long time.

If the usa takes a hard left, and mean citizen occupation – only a few useful people are running for typical election – this fall coming next spring, we may trade a full blown, unchecked, fascism for a messy reconstruction.

Basicaly we may get a second chance to NOT DROP THE BALL on reconstruction, like after the civil war. (tl;dr Jim Crow won, with redline icing on top)

If fraudulent finance is still on control at capitals the coming summer, the evil will be entrenched, and it will be a lot more blood and ashes before we make it to warcrimes trials.

Sorry. I traded almost all my hope for scholarship. But I keep the kettle fresh, and sometimes the oil lasts an extra day, even if it’s mere luck of helpful weather.

I also gave up on leaving and joined all the queer and smart clubs around. I try visit the metro to soak uo queer friendly culture regularly. Not like me leaving would fix anything. Not really even for muself, as hard as it is to make a relocation stick if you’re not wealthy. And I like the biome I’m in anyway.
