push all the moderates out of the Democratic Party so we’re left with only the truest most liberal of politicians.

Why should we listen to you when you have no idea what words even mean? The moderates are the liberals!

On top of that, your argument is ass-backwards anyway, even after we interpret it as you meant (“the truest most leftist of politicians”) instead of as you said.

By your logic, since the MAGAs successfully pushed all the moderates out of the Republican Party so we’re left with only the truest most fascist of politicians, they went on to win only 20 Senate seats and never saw the presidency again.

    …oh wait.

The difference between republicans and democrats is republicans stick with their party no matter what. The know they can say and do whatever bullshit they want, and they will maintain their voters.

Democrats don’t have this luxury. If they feel like the Democratic Party sucks, they won’t vote.

All the more reason Democrats need to start fucking listening to their voting base (working-class Americans) by moving left instead of conspiring with corporate donors and moving right to screw us.

The key thing to understand is that there are no mythical “moderate voters” to court. Those are nothing but a fucking fantasy; a lie perpetrated by the Democratic Party as an excuse to chase money at the expense of votes.
