Are we seriously trying to say a damn time cop being at such momentous events was an accident?

Was watching the Trekculture ups and downs for Galaxy Quest earlier today. Seán took a moment to point out that connection.

The thing that kills me about the Omega 13 is that both the Human and Thermian fan-bases independently came to the same conclusion as to the purpose and function of the thing. All without it being disclosed in the show. Intentional or not, it kind of paints the Thermians as no different than any other super-fan, just with a lot more resources.

Bonus fact: use it all you want, but you can never exist on a timeline where the device has been used.

Maybe the thermians watched Star Trek too and used those characters for their holographic disguises.

Now just what in the hell is that doing there?

Edit: not sure you can make out the blurry captain of the Orville here getting scolded on the Enterprise

I forgot about ensign dipshit from Boston.

So that means Galaxy Quest, Star Trek, and The Orville are all in the same universe. (I also forgot about Penny being on the Orville)

Much as i llove the bit, there’s simply too many trek actors in The Orville playing wildly different characters to make the same universe plausible
