I actually felt emotion at the death of Nancy Le Salt Sucker, maybe it was the acting quality,but she made a lot out of a little.

Saw both of those in the theater!
I saw Master and Commnder at 10fps on a 2" screen because I managed to get video working on the iRiver H320 I got because even 5(?) years later I was still part of the generation of nerds who thought iPods were just “No wireless. Less space than a nomad. Lame.”
Even then… pretty good movie.
Huh this brings back a memory of installing an aftermarket firmware on some ipod-like device. I don’t remember the device or the firmware… I probably still have it lying around somewhere though.
It was a good movie, but I haven’t watched it since.

The aristocrat vamps were the best part, they just didn’t GAF. Bit of a refreshing astringency to balance out all the syrup.

LOL, Master & Commander and Twlight are indeed VERY different movies.
Twilight just needed more weevils and death.
