        You said “in 2025” so that’s why I said “current.”

        The article references two decisions - one from 2022 and one from 1984. The 1984 decision is just as problematic as the 2022 decision (and together they are super bad, of course), and that one wasn’t from today’s court.

        So I think what you’re saying is that we shouldn’t give any real weight to this court’s decisions, and that someday a more reasonable court will find them as absurd as the rest of us do? If so, I agree. But today we’re still living in their world.

          Anyone acting like SC decisions are set in stone in 2025

          What I meant was that in the year of 2025, people should realize that any SC (future and current) could overturn any ruling, ones made in the past and ones not made yet

          Not that in the next few days nothing could change.

          I’m sorry that wasn’t clear, but to be fair I thought that phrase was common usage still.
