Weird, I’ve been boycotting Chick-Fil-A for something like 15 years. I legitimately don’t recall how long I’ve been boycotting them. Fuck Chick-Fil-A.

Fuck them for changing corporate policy to what you want it to be?

They deserved hate for their anti-lgbt policies, but if they scrapped that there’s no reason for hate anymore.

The family who owns most of the shares, and who were the authors of the anti-lgbt donations policies, vowed to replace the company’s direct contributions with their own contributions sourced via the company’s profits and dividends.

It moved who does the direct donation, but buying from Chick-fil-A still funds anti-lgbt efforts.

Damages demand restitution. I’ll be chill with chik fil a when they commit to undoing the damage they’ve caused. “Sorry, we won’t do it again” isn’t acceptable, especially when their owner, Dan Cathy, continues to fund many of the same groups that chik fil a supposedly stopped funding in response to public pressure.

Regardless of what corporate does, Dan Cathy is still the chairman. Chick Fil A is what provides his income. He uses that income to fund bullshit Christian Nationalist shit still. I’d rather not be part of the reason he has the funds to do so.

You can still hate someone who eventually, under great pressure, finally decided to stop hurting people after having a history of hurting people when they should have known better.
