With the growing number of users jumping from Windows to Linux, I decided to fully take the plunge and dive deep into the Open Source ocean. A few months and several headaches later, it has proved to be the best computer-related decision I've made in over a decade (and perhaps in my entire life).
Firstly the resolution is capped at the host machines, there is no software that i know that can upscale or do magic. Responsiveness is based on internet speed in 95% of scenarios. I will look into the multiple session thing. And what exactly wasn’t working for you except RD?
Rustdesk is very good, but if it’s not for you maybe try AnyDesk. And if you are looking for a wayland compatibile RD solution, it doesn’t exist although rustdesk has an experimental support for it. (You can use x11 or xwayland on linux)
