Rustdesk is very good, but if it’s not for you maybe try AnyDesk. And if you are looking for a wayland compatibile RD solution, it doesn’t exist although rustdesk has an experimental support for it. (You can use x11 or xwayland on linux)

Firstly the resolution is capped at the host machines, there is no software that i know that can upscale or do magic. Responsiveness is based on internet speed in 95% of scenarios. I will look into the multiple session thing. And what exactly wasn’t working for you except RD?
In addition Mint comes with it’s app store which is Flatpak based unlike Ubuntu s which is Snap based, flatpak is faster and just better. (Fedora might have one too but idk never tried it) Also a very good browser for linux is Firedragon i recommend giving it a try :)
Since you are this new of a user linux mint might be better for you… Or even Fedora because it’s less resource intensive especially the Cosmic version https://fedoraproject.org/spins/cosmic

You can change language whenever you want. Just go into settings and find it.
If you need any help/advice feel free to ask me :)
And what hardware do you use? Bc Ubuntu has the most extwnsive device support as far as i know.
