If recording a video and blowing a whistle gets you murdered by the military, armed resistance is going to be the only option left.
Insecure dictators really don’t like when people say no…
Also rapists like trump
Many blue states have made it difficult to arm ourselves. Good luck with that.
I guess it’s a good thing they carved out exceptions for law enforcement in all these ban laws. Those guys will definitely help us. 🥲
Since the replies below are so ignorant here is what is in Washington and soon to a blue state near you: https://washingtonstatestandard.com/2025/05/20/washingtonians-will-need-state-permit-to-buy-guns-under-new-law/
So if you don’t trust your state government then you can bet your ass your permit may have a delay or be blocked especially as they start checking your social media accounts.
Oh and the “classes” required to pass will be at your local gun range. Want to take a wild guess who runs those? Sure as hell ain’t your fellow Democrats.
The ignorance from users below really shows how deep we are into the fascism already taking over before anyone can defend themselves.
I’m an armed WA resident, there are plenty of us. It wasn’t difficult. We just don’t make it our entire personality.
And somehow banning firearm ownership, scary features, standard mags has to do with a personality?
Clueless and pointless reply. Thanks for the convo.
You were the one that brought up this pointless conversation, and specifically mentioned Washington state. Maybe don’t bring up pointless topics if you have no idea what you’re talking about. Just because you don’t see leftist gun owners doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Again, we just don’t make it our entire personality like the gravy seals do.
It’s not difficult to get a gun here. And you should take training regardless of what your state tells you to do.
This is a really dumb take. Even Democratic-leaning areas have more guns than most war zones
The difference of a democrat and a republic gun owner is you don’t know the democrat owns guns because they don’t make it their personality.
And that’s just registered guns…
Like, anytime we’re talking about guns in America, it’s important to remember that a shit ton of guns don’t legally need to be registered anywhere.
Even Cali, handguns and rifles need registered when sold. So who knows how many existed before that rule and have never been sold since.
No they haven’t
Wtf are you talking about? I’m in California and we still have our firearms ready. 10 mag? Lol we have 30s round mags from freedom week. Shitty pistol grip? Lol we already have a quick swap for it to be a regular rifle. Yeah we might not have all the calibers but we still have rifle ammo that will do good against plates.
I’m actually still looking to get my safety classes and certification done. Any recommendations for a good place to go? :)
I honestly didn’t have to do that since I was in the military when I got my own firearms. Turners was easy for my brother in law who wasn’t in the military.
The FSC is pretty much common sense rules. Don’t point firearm at someone, watch your trigger finger, how to safely store your firearm.
Yep, standard stuff. I actually wanted to learn more about firearms from a mechanical perspective (electrical engineering student, but I always found firearms design fascinating). I’ve already done a lot of background research on how to diagnose things like jams and malfunctions, along with responsible precautions like trigger finger discipline and proper transport/carry positions (fun fact: VR shooters work surprisingly well as a no-risk environment to practice this stuff).
I guess I’m getting into more detail than I need to, but I’m really just looking for good organizations to learn and share in the hobby with others here in Cali without getting tangled with those red hat chucklefucks. At least I already bought my own earpro - industrial intern environments already gave me the excuse to get a Razor Slim headset XD
Yeah pretty much almost all ranges are controlled by red hats. The one that I’ve gone to in socal and hasn’t been swarmed with red hats would be in lytle creek. Been there a few times and it’s been quiet and RSO are chill AF. Raahauge shooting range owners are red hats and are proud of it which is why I stop going to them. The RSO were also really chill and friendly but I can’t accept giving money to red hats.
Actually, there are high rates of gun ownership and sales even in states such as California (here’s a report stored in the Internet Archive about sales in 2023-24, California is third). Additionally, as shown in our state’s own 2024 Crime Guns seizure report, the amount of people willing to use privately made firearms (or acquire firearms outside of official designated pathways) is not insubstantial.
(Also for the record, you are able to assemble a privately made firearm in the state of California for personal use. You may have to store it in a safe and take safety classes if you plan on declaring it, but it is possible and can be legally performed.)
Many blue states have made it difficult to arm ourselves.
They absolutely have not…
Even if there are mandatory waiting periods, that just means it’s a good idea to go now.
