What would that do? Dead bodies don’t put off heat very long. Well aside from decomposition, but that’s negligible.

Yeah that’s the surface topography one I think. You’d need specifically ground penetrating radar if you’re looking for bodies I think. Assuming of course all they did was bury them and they didn’t like mulch up whoever they wanted to disappear first.

That’s what I thought so too but when I did a quick search eelier I did see some underground results. I will have to do more digging.

These aren’t just a little device you pin on your shorts though. You might tow it in a trailer behind a 4 wheel motorbike over a grid pattern.

I don’t know anything about this other than what I’ve seen on Time Team (and supposition), but I think that might be ok if you’re trying to measure the size and density of a mineral deposit, but I don’t think you’ll be able to detect a grave.

I think I’m conflating GPR with… something else to do with magnets, but I still don’t think you’re going to detect a grave from a plane.

Isn’t the gpr the one they use to detect bits of wall and stuff and cops use to detect recently dug ground (because it’s not as compacted). Of course if they hid the bodies during construction it might not work so well as it would all be dug over.
