The filing puts the legality of the president’s push to impose limits on mail voting squarely before the justices even as states begin sending out ballots.

North Carolina was supposed to send ballots to military and overseas voters on Friday, September 4.

I’m so tired of this big government getting involved in every aspect of our personal lives.

Those republicans are such invaders of states rights and privacy!

Honestly, Democratic messaging needs to lean very hard into how hard the conservatives want to make everything for everyone. Not just making a living, getting healthcare, having access to clean air, clean water, and food without foodborne illnesses. They also want to make it more difficult to even vote. This is in a country that already has a long tradition of making it harder than it needs to be (in many states).

If we don’t have online voting, the very least we should have is ballots mailed to us that we can mail back and have trust they will be counted.

That should be the bare fucking minimum in a supposed “free” country.
