DS9 s5e25 “In the Cards”
Ah, one of Sisko’s two emotions: righteous indignation and baseball.
I think for a few moments he was happier in Emissary when he saw Jennifer in his orb experience.

But then reality kicked back in.

So Willie Mays wins for giving lasting happiness.

He was also pretty happy to lose that baseball game.

Note that it’s still baseball related.
Man just loves some baseball.
Name a more iconic duo than Jake and Nog
Are ya havin’ a laugh?

I prefer a little romance
No, I was just wrong
I love the Jake Nog shenanigans episodes.
ahem that’s “NoJay Consortium”, if you please.
Same. They were fun highlights
Just watched that one the other day! Its such a fun episode, both a parody and critique.
Wait don’t they have matter replicators that make material wealth and collections… Obsolete?
If you don’t need money anymore, then you don’t need mine!
This is a relic from a bygone era. And it’s in mint condition! No replicator could match it, including the carbon dating.
I wanna know how it ended up in an alien’s possession to start with. That could be a fun episode; like the intro sequence for Lord of War, but it’s some ancient Earth relic that goes through a bunch of shit for hundreds of years to finally settle being a decoration on some Starship Captain’s desk.
I’d also accept a variation on that Christopher Walken bit from Pulp Fiction…
“He was captured and put in a Cardassian prison camp. Now he knew if the Cardies ever saw the baseball card it’d be confiscated. He’d be damned if any spoonheads gonna put their scaly grey hands on his limited edition baseball card, so he hid it, in the one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years, he wore this baseball card up his ass. Then when he died of dysentery, he gave me the baseball card. I hid this uncomfortable piece of cardboard up my ass for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I sell the baseball card to you.”
“Wow! Somehow it still smells like the bubblegum it originally came with!”
But why couldn’t one. Aren’t they basically transporters that just use stored patterns?
Something about it being noticeably reconstituted. They’ve had to authenticate the age of items before, so I imagine they’d know if…

My cells are bored
