Changes by the Trump administration have left US diplomats demoralized and less able to do their jobs, according to a scathing new report by the union representing foreign service officers.
The report, based on a survey of foreign service members, found that a vast majority of respondents — 98% — said morale had declined since January, and a third were considering leaving the foreign service early.
25% of the foreign service has “resigned, retired, seen their agencies dismantled, or been removed from their posts” since January, the report said, and more are considering leaving.
“The U.S. Foreign Service is being systematically undermined by its own leadership,” AFSA President John Dinkelman warned in the report, which is set to be released on Wednesday afternoon. “The Foreign Service—the very institution tasked with navigating our global interests—is being dismantled in real time.”
In equally obvious news, asbestos flakes suspended in mercury does not make for a healthy breakfast.
America is nothing but a world class modern Mafia.
Sometimes I wonder… USA is young and there are organizations much older. Older nations as well. For example the church/Vatican… Which has a history with Mafias. And the freesmasons which as well has ties to mafias.
Understanding conquest and crime it’s not hard to start thinking that there has been a strong will to gain control of this new young nation. It seems like they have done it. I honestly believe this more than Russia being responsible.
Trump has a history with mafias as well. And I find it interesting that Rudy Giuliani supposedly got the Mafia out of NY. Seeing his current life it looks more as if he made deals with them and then got used by them via trump admin crime family and then got discarded. As if he had a debt and wasn’t able to repay the way they wanted him to so they kicked him down. You see this often with trump… Mtg, Elon musk… Etc. I think trump is more someone in debt to someone than a political mastermind that made it to presidency. I assume he is just a fall guy for this “entity” so to speak. He will probably have the same outcome as them. He’s just a useful idiot with a debt.
So much of the trump admin methods seems identical to organized crime. most people don’t understand the real chaos still in American life and naively assume some of the dark aspects of humanity don’t exist anymore.
I suggest people study this history of organized crime. Look into it as well as 4th and 5th generation warfare and current reality starts to make sense. One of the more darker realizations I’m coming to is the fact that it really does seem like political discourse is over. As if that is an era passed. as if the foundation of what we thought was a democracy for humanity got a virus and tainted with corruption to a terminal level.
Trump raked in billions from fleecing people with his crypto scam at the beginning of the year before he was even sworn in, then took millions in bribes from technocrats and others wanting to sweeten him up. He owes no debts, he is no scapegoat, he is acting on his own accord, even if in the end he truly is the useful puppet of Peter Thiel et al.
As the US becomes more isolationist (except for the occasional invasion of small, oil-producing countries), old-fashioned diplomacy will become extinct, replaced by a pay-to-play arrangement with Trump. As this article shows, it’s already in progress.
America wanted this. The US wanted to be seen as a untrustworthy jack off because of racism. Kinda like the UK, right?
