I don’t think that him giving advice is helpful in this context and from your comment it seems like maybe that wasn’t how you understood the comic. Yea I also thought of the woman talking about her period. Obviously it is impossible for the man to feel sympathy to all aspects of physical and emotional discomfort felt during a period but I was focusing mostly on the psychological aspects in isolation from all the other aspects.
