    I thought the amazing US healthcare system didn’t have waiting lists for cancer treatment if you had money, are you telling me that you can be a multimillionaire and still not get decent treatment?

      I mean, the ultra-rich tend to be entirely insulated from facts and surrounded by sycophants, which often means that they get caught flat-footed by stuff like cancer. Look no further than Steve Jobs who died from a treatable form of cancer through sheer obtuseness

          iirc he was a “fruitarian” for a long time before the cancer, but I think he did believe it would heal him. Or something, I don’t remember. Also he thought he didn’t stink if he didn’t shower. And all the sycophants around him enabled his stank.

            He tried it in college. Gave up. Started again after diagnosis. Refused chemo and radiotherapy which could’ve helped as he went into remission several times, but probably needed the rejected therapies to stick.
