    Back in the day when Netflix was fairly new and still had a comment feature you had to be careful you weren’t accidently renting one of these. Always had to check the comments.

    Some of them were pretty good, tbh

    Be Kind Rewind is a quirky movie where they end up making these Mockbusters. Don’t recommend if you don’t like Jack Black. Do recommend if you like Mos Def.

    Oh yeah for years the gas stations up and down I95 would have racks of these things.

    Titles like World WarsZ, Saving Private Rian, etc etc

    Huh. Never seen one of those in the flesh. I guess they don’t travel outside the US much.

    There’s that one studio infamous for this that has made movies like Atlantic Rim which is a copy of Pacific Rim. The Asylum is the name of that studio.
