The administration argues that relying on imported metals could reduce demand for American-made materials, leaving the US with less domestic production and fewer critical supplies in the event of a national emergency.

And because brass instruments are made mostly from copper and zinc, they have been swept into the same net as fire extinguishers, floor safes, electrical cables, welding-machine parts, and tanker trailers.

He’s paranoid someone will hide a gun in one. He’s lived most of his adult life afraid and the older he gets, the more afraid he is. It’s the same reason he eats fast food. He thinks it would be harder to poison him that way.

the tariffs that, again, the courts already ruled were unconstitutional. Trump doesn’t have the authority to levy taxes/tariffs. And yet, he keeps ordering tariffs around for bullshit national security reasons.

I cannot understand why Trump just says “Do these things that break the law” and everyone just fucking does it.

I was actually shocked that he didn’t just coerce everyone into halting birthright citizenship

I mean, didnt he? He just put out an executive order to attack birthright citizenship immediately after and in response to the supreme court upholding that its a constitutional right. He doesnt give af what courts say, or the law says.

Because all the pedo-enablers are currently in power because they entertain the pedo president, specifically. Hence they do whatever he says because that’s how they stay in power. You can see from some recent movement in the Reps that they do know they need to offboard at the right moment, and they’re starting to prepare for that, but right now it’s how they stay in power.

And, it adds that since Trump is constantly extracting the money of american taxpayers for his personal wealth via the control the presidency gives him, this system enables Republicans to largely get away with the same thing, hence they probably not only gain power but also massive wealth from it.

On the plus side, RFK Jr said eating aluminium foil is perfectly healthy. He even offered to teach some abdominal exercises that can help roll the foil around the roadkill in your gut, to help keep it unfresh between digestion cycles, which are totally a thing, too.

I don’t consider myself particularly patriotic but I do feel like national state buildings should be made with materials from this country.

It’s big enough. We have the basics here. Marble. Wood.

Why not showcase this countries materials ?

Also did you see the bathroom?. It’s so ugly.

Tbh if I didn’t hate the man I’d like the bathroom.

But yeah I feel that public buildings should use American materials. Really they should prioritize materials within their jurisdiction, and where it’s not possible as close to the level of jurisdiction as possible, including continent level. That means if we don’t have it then we should check if canada or Mexico do. And I’m not saying to use the gray granite that my link included, we can bypass for concerns of beauty and practicality, but there’s beautiful stone in America. And in general I feel it adds to the local identity to use materials from there. New Mexico, Vermont, and Minnesota shouldn’t have state houses that look the same.

Exceptions of course for gifts, like, actual gifts, not grift gifts. The statue of liberty being french bronze is great, it remains a symbol of the fact that they used to like us back in the day.

The move is part of the Trump administration’s broader tariff strategy, which it says will encourage people to buy American-made goods and attract investment from foreign companies.

So…isn’t this just an admission that it really has nothing to do with national security?

A national security threat created by Republicans decades ago by allowing encouraging the export of American jobs to foreign countries in order for corporations to take the lazy path towards improving profits via slave labor freely available in other countries.

The entire GOP establishment and their corporate benefactors sold out our futures for a quick and easy profit. They should be held criminally responsible for destroying this country for their own gain.

The kid rapist elite has nothing to be afraid of. The DOJ has no power over them, while genuine US citizens are getting executed in daylight on the streets and human beings are held in worst condition than cattle.

Sorry there’s just not enough time in our 24-hour news cycle to cover the pedophile ring holding the richest country in the world hostage. We have to run these stories about Fauci. Then we have to cover every stupid fucking thing Donald Trump says but NOT the fact that he rapes kids
