I would open up app far more frequently if Gowron congratulated me every time I completed an exercise.

Though, tbh, while my Klingon is rusty, I need to work on my Tamarian. But as they say “Koltar, when he drowned in the swamp.”

I want to write a zombie apocalyptic story that starts with the MC at a trek con. they eventually meet up with some people but they don’t speak the same language until they find out they all speak fluent Klingon.

the rest of the book would just be them becoming Klingons and building an empire in the midst of the zombie outbreak.

Owl probably triggers the tales from the great tribble hunt. Songs are sung from that great battle and the genocide of the tribble home world.

Has Star Trek ever had a Klingon character that did not speak what ever the Federation is speaking? Only Klingon?

Tons. Most of them aren’t speaking English in the first place, it’s the Universal Translator

The only trek species that has to learn a language to interact with The Federation would be the Tamarians, since theirs is the only language that completely defeated the universal translator (they speak in metaphor, instead of directly)

Honorable mention to some of the aliens they interact with in Enterprise, before the Universal Translator was fully working. Though technically they weren’t the Federation yet.

A Klingon would, if the Owl(s) proved themself/selves in battle and brought honor to their family. They’d be a worthy foe, and worthy of Klingon respect.
