Doesn’t have to be alcoholic, just whatever really slakes your thirst

Distilled water. That tang. I’m told it’s stripping my body of minerals but 1) I don’t really believe it and 2) I really don’t care, it’s fucking delicious.

Water most of the time. Even when I was a kid I refused sodas quite early. I am sorry for many children that are socially force-fed soda by hijacking their ancient instincts using marketing and weak regulation and enabled by short term thinking parents, who are themselve socially programmed for that 😥 It is a vicious circle that is hard to escape on societal level…

    And also oat milk.

    Orange juice
I’m allergic to it, but it’s an allergy I developed as an adult. As a kid I loved it, and I miss it so much.

    Also Clearly Canadian blackberry flavour.

I love infused ginger. It’s new to me, I didn’t even know about ginger for the longest time

Tea. Specifically, what’s known in other parts of the world as “English Breakfast (Black) Tea”. Because I’m British and grew up with it.

Although I vary quite a bit from average. Mine’s usually decaffeinated with sweetener and soy milk for health reasons.

Sparkling water. Liquid Death has a cola flavor that’s satisfying in that area without the sugar or caffeine.

    Also regular water.

Water usually, but coffee is #2 and sometimes I’ll drink tea, wine, V8, or beer. Mimosas and bloody Marys can really hit spot sometimes and smoothies get an honorable mention as well.

    By order of preference:

    • water
    • lemonade, iced, sweetned, with a mint leaf
    • iced tea, home made
    • ginger ale, again, home made

(stay with me, people, I’m just that annoying)

    • ginger beer, non-alcoholic, again, home made
    • a store brand energy drink and that drink alone; other drinks taste like disappointment and industrial solvents
    • sparkling water, chilled, but only if Pedras Salgadas; it’s slightly bitter and acidic
    • gin & tonic, in a chilled glass, for a late afternoon drink
    • moscaranja, a mixed drink with Moscatel wine and fresh orange juice, high ball glass, with ice
    • Pisang Ambon and orange juice, with ice, same presentation as above
    • sangria, and this implies red wine, not champagne, sparkling wine, rosé, etc. Just a nice strong red wine, poured over fresh fruit, a bit of orange juice, sugar and a bit of sparkling water. With ice.
    • chilled white wine. No ice. Watered wine tastes like dish water and sadness.
    • coke, over ice, with a slice of lemon
    • beer, if nothing else available and I’m walking home
