Honestly, I have a love-hate relationship with the ds9 defiant
I love it because it stepped away fro Roddenberry’s rules for feddie ships. ( nacelles in even numbers, must have a saucer-section, nacelles must have LOS, etc.) I also love that it’s unapologetically a warship.
I hate that the front end was kitbashed from the most useless of vacuum cleaner attachments.
Don’t forget that the front is a fecking warhead.
I did not know that.
Somehow that makes it even more ridiculously love-hate for me.
