The president seems to be at war with the Democratic-led state as he raises the pressure on Colorado leaders to release a convicted election denier, Tina Peters, from state prison.

    Hell, even Bobo understands:

“Nothing says America First like denying clean drinking water to 50,000 people in southeast Colorado, many of whom voted for him in all three elections,” Ms. Boebert said in a blistering statement.

I wonder if any Republicans like her will ever understand that “maga”, in other words, Republicans and conservatives, have and always have had, an America LAST agenda. Meaning, they don’t plan on doing positive things for the people that actually live here in this country, and not just the 1% of 1% and the white cishet conservative xtians.

He has almost absolute power. That was never a good thing to start with. By now it should be clear even to his staunchest supporters (professionally and as voters) that they’re in a bind. He’s acting out exactly like many senile old people do.

Unless someone can tell me how this will help MAGA win the next election.

So can we now agree that states rights mean about as much as womens rights, to a convicted rapist?

Don’t vote/ allow rapists into office. It’s not hard.

Much like just about everything else, according to your laws this isn’t something the US president has the power to do. Blame him if you want- I choose to blame the rest of your country abdicating their responsibility for dealing with it.

Eh, as much as I don’t like Taco, the Presidential veto is part of our system.

He’s being a petty vindictive little baby in this case, though. It’s not about an executive check on a legislative branch that’s overstepping.

It is him putting his personal retribution campaign over the drinking water for 50,000 people.

Let’s see if the representatives still have some dignity left and push for a veto override.
