Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville was referring to Mamdani’s swearing-in on a Quran. The Council on American-Islamic Relations has documented a history of anti-Muslim statements from him.

Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville from Alabama posted on social media: “The enemy is inside the gates” upon learning that Zohran Mamdani became the first mayor of New York City to be sworn in using a Quran.

The Quran is the primary religious text of Islam, akin to the Christian Bible. Mamdani is the first Muslim mayor of New York, the nation’s largest city.

Tuberville, a conservative football coach-turned-politician, has a history of making anti-Muslim statements, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR.

Another pedophile giving an opinion no one asked for.

When your voter base only likes you cause you are just as shitty a human being as they are, ouch.

Tuberville is such a stereotypical redneck moron… Just looking into his eyes makes you feel like you’re looking at a 15W light bulb in an empty fridge.

He’s not just a moron with no relevant education, he’s also an actively evil racist who defrauded investors for millions, refused to do his job in the senate, uses the Tuberville foundation to laundry money and bribes, backed the Trump insurrection attempt, voted against same sex marriage legislation in 2022, and sponsors anti trans legislation.

He’s the human equivalent of a ham and mayonnaise sandwich in a kkk hood.

If Tuberville is against it, there’s a near 100% change this is good for average working people and bad for billionares.

Let’s face it, the enemy is, in fact inside the gates. It’s painted orange, and it’s shitting its pants whilst sitting in the whitehouse fantasizing about little girls (when not in a dementia fever dream).

Alabama is rated at the top for businesses to move in, because they openly fuck over their citizens. They’re rated at the bottom 5 for quality of life and healthcare. 1 in 5 kids in Alabama live in poverty. They have the highest in infant mortality rate, higher than most countries.

Also high crime areas. Not to mention they continue to cut the budget for their environmental funding.

Alabama is pretty much a pro-business, anti-life state.

Apart from this Alabama douche being an asshole, the concept of swearing on a book of fables needs to go away.

But, it’s always funny to me when Christians and Muslims fight over their religions, it’s like two 3 year olds arguing which power ranger is more powerful…

Can’t believe that my senator is this fucking stupid. A walking stereotype. Hopefully he loses the race for governor. If he wins, he might even manage to be worse than Ivey.

Ive never lived in Alabama, but as a woman in the military who was around for the damage he did weaponizing a pro-life rhetoric, I’m so sorry for you.

I really dont believe he’s dumb. I believe he’s straight up evil and thats so much worse. I also hope he doesnt win governorship of Alabama. Good luck out there my friend!

Yeah. Pretty sure a decent chunk of the reason he won was because of his record as a fucking college football coach. Not sure how that was supposed to transfer over to skill in politics, but it’s what the people wanted. Alabama is pretty backwards in most ways. He does seem rather evil, but he also seems rather unintelligent, don’t think he’s ever come up with his own talking point or dogwhistle.

      Heyyy, a fellow Alabamian.

Yeah we’re looking to get out before the governor race starts. Tuberville is somehow worse than grandma.

If I may ask, whereabout are you looking to go?

We were originally looking to leave the country, but the housing crisis in Canada is atrocious and the UK is TERF island. Now we’re looking at Colorado due to their governor really sticking it to Trump. Though I am worried he may be ousted next year…

Possibly Ireland or New Zealand. Haven’t looked into it too much to be honest. Anywhere where people speak English and I probably won’t be shot or bothering any of the people that already live there. Australia is probably half decent in some places. I would definitely avoid the UK though, they’re almost as bad as the US in a lot of ways.

So many republicans are smart people pretending to be folksy morons. Tuberville is the genuine article.
