This is proof that individuals do have power. Together we have a voice. Keep speaking.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

As an American, good. We have too many chuckle-fucks here who live in their own bubbles, thinking America can do whatever the fuck it wants without consequence, like we’re not all a part of the same global stage. We deserve every ounce of criticism we’re getting.

Gee I wonder where that could’ve stemmed from?

I’m american and am so fucking ashamed of this place right now. Hoping for aliens to come down --since they always land in the US-- and just start blasting…

I’m becoming anti-American, and I’m American. I totally understand why the rest of the world hates us. I don’t blame them at all.

These stupid cunts didn’t realize he was unpopular when they were doing photo ops during the campaign? Let them suffer.

    Sucks to suck.

They spent billions of dollars and decades avoiding competition at all costs.

We can’t have good cars or phones or anything really. All our appliances are designed to break so you have to buy another. Planned obsolescence. Enshitification.

Whenever I have a choice I avoid US products and I’m American. Because the products are either designed to fail or just worse. And for a higher price.

Oh, these rich bastards would love that. Nah, they’re stuck with me. This is my country too. They managed to run me out of my home state but I’ll be damned if I abandon the country I know we could be.

Sadly not that easy. Some countries don’t offer permanent residency at all, some offer it but it requires hoops not realistic for some people like marrying into it, some might have more options but then can be very competitive, and of course many places if you move to you will have to learn a whole new language which is hard for someone passed the critical period. Picking up the language and culture could take literal decades and if you don’t have connections to help you settle in during that time you’re probably not going to have a good time. Also the USA tries to discourage you from leaving by requiring you to submit taxes even if you don’t live in the USA anymore. You can only get out of it by renouncing your US citizenship which would make it harder to visit family. Not to mention up and moving can be initially rather expensive until things settle down. There are many barriers which can be overcome but I would not say it is “easy.”

I made it as far as figuring out what countries my wife and I could easily get visas for with our respective lines of work and even started filling out forms. Then I realized all my friends are here. My family is here. We both like our jobs, our home. It’s just the people I some associate with that I don’t like.

Good. If anti american sentiment can put a dent in these corp business structures, all I see are two moral goods.
