Kim’s Convenience. I’ve watched it 4-5 times all the way through. I’ll probably wait a couple more months before I watch it again, but I love the characters, especially Mr. Kim and Kimchee.

It is my theory that Netflix is designed to make you browse instead of watch. Streaming costs money. Browsing keeps you engaged with Netflix without costing them real money.

Streaming costs almost nothing to them comparitively, the expensive part is all the licensing

Tried to look this up and you’re not wrong. It’s pennies per month for each user. Not per stream, but all streams.

Really puts their price hikes in perspective. Wish I could cancel it again.

They own a lot of their own content now so that’s “free”. They pay residuals based on streams which is part of licensing. The more streams, the more licensing costs.

Clearly an impostor Jigsaw. The real one always designed his traps to be winnable.

Trick question. The correct answer is an episode of Psych, the far superior Sherlock Holmes telling.

Easy, the one where he’s rude to patients, has his subordinates do an illegal house search, he pops some pills and dispite being a total jerk still is portrayed to be a good friend to Watson Wilson.

Shows are easy. There are a decent number od good ones on Netflix. Jigsaw never said to watch a new show so that leaves a lot of options available.

Now if he told you to pick a Netflix original movie that he would enjoy and hadn’t seen, that’s a lot harder.

That’s why I don’t have Netflix. I used to for a while, but trying to find something to watch to justify the monthly price seemed too much like a chore. My streaming service is my DVD shelf, and I update it by going to second-hand stores.

Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

The rules are simple:

  • The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author’s website, for instance).
  • The comic must be a complete story.
  • If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
  • You may post comics from others or your own.
  • If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
  • The comic can be in any language, but if it’s not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post’s ‘body’ field (note: you don’t need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
  • Politeness.
  • AI-generated comics aren’t allowed.
  • Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.
