No kid, you got banned for cheating!
When I was a kid, my parent found some cheap china beyblade kit box, it came with random stuff to make beyblade. One of the stuff was kinda heavy metal core and it had 4 small plastic bits sticking out, and they CUTS. I fucked up couple of my other beyblades before I notice the damages.
Its dad:
As a kid, my friends also realized this. We started using glue guns to glue more weight disks on our beyblades. It turned into an arms race lmao. It didn’t get super crazy since people didnt own that many beyblades but I do remember i had a beyblade with 3 weight disks.
Let it rip
Fuck yeah. You can tell that dad was both proud of his kid crushing other beyblades and also proud of his own engineering skills.
Its funny. I had never heard of Beyblades before last year. A kid/young man came it with his improved beyblades designs he had done in tinkercad. I helped him with how to 3d print them. Somewhere he still competes with them. He is twenty or so.
I need to find this man
Step up your parenting game: Study metallurgy.
Learn CAD. Build a CNC machine.
Invest in tungsten
Drop it from space on your enemies
Nothing like a Rod From God
Nicely done, lol
Helicopter parenting?
More like geostationary orbit parenting.
A depleted uranium core with tungsten carbide cutter blades.
Why deplete the uranium? Go radioactive. Cobalt!
Warning on bay blade : spin and run
Lol nice. I wonder if he used tungsten carbide blanks. Probably densest cheap metal if lead isn’t an option. Would need diamond cutting discs/bits to fit it tho.
Edit: probably for the best that I didn’t become a parent lol
I watched a video where some crafters used tungsten powder mixed in an epoxy for a really great effect. Get that heavy and metallic look of tungsten but easy to cast like epoxy.
Even and katelyn?
It was a guy and gal talking to Adam Savage.
Yea thats them, they have a channel where they do lots of cool stuff with resin, can only recommend!
It was Evan and Katelyn being featured on Adam’s channel lol
happy cake day!
But lead would be an option. Just don’t lick it and it’s fine.
Yeah you’re right. I’m too used to worst-possible-case being min req but you’re right.
I remember kids with meter long rip cords and giant knock offs and extra large metal disks that terrorised the playground back in the day lol. There were also kids with knock off metal disks with flints that spark when 2 bayblades hit each other so that was cool.
I remember one kid saying he was going to attach razor blades or sharpen the fins on his Beyblade. I also remember seeing him crying the nurse’s office the next day with his hand bandaged.
Knew a guy who sharpened his fingernails before a fight. Realized his mistake when he hit someone with his fist and cut himself up. Poor planning .
Sharp the left hand nails and punch with the right hand
And they say you learn nothing valuable in school. Smh my head.
Get discs of steel and ferrocerium. Even more sparks than flint!
ha that’s sort of what I did, not knockoffs but I used the largest diameter weight disk combined with the smallest diameter bottom and top , so the metal corners(it was hexagonal iirc) of the disk would stick out further than the plastic ‘blades’ of the topper
This has unlocked a memory I haven’t recalled in probably 20 years…
I remember those fake beyblades that were completely made out of metal. Those things were dangerous. Never used my original beyblades against those death machines.
They had real all metal beyblades
Peak parenting
It’s a ballsy move
You could say, balls of steel.
~Thank you. I’ll be here all week. Try the veal.~
As kid I know only those made of wood
Beyblade X is so good again
Now bring back Pogs.
Alf pogs?
This makes me wonder if any of the cheaty things you were supposed to be able to do to conkers actually worked.
