Biden would have been an idiot not to do the pardons. But the real key was Biden trying to get congress to put it in writing that a president wasn’t immune from prosecution for acts performed as president. He wasn’t choosing the wording, congress was supposed to legislate it… Yet they didn’t want too, which says to me that there was a lot of members in Congress that wanted a king.
