Game of thrones if we are counting the last few seasons… light of the seven (https://youtu.be/pS-gbqbVd8c?is=WSqGQGKdBa3UzY5Z) is definitely one my my favorite soundtracks. Especially with the context of the episode it was played in
Disgusting lack of Space Jam in this thread. For a kids movie, the artists on the soundtrack were not fucking around
Yeah that really does seem like one of the most underrated movie soundtracks
Highlander man,
Who wants to live forever?
Batman Forever and the X-Files Movie Soundtrack.
Love me some scores, but these were both rock solid soundtracks.
Both of these had fantastic original(?) songs.
And Batman Forever marks the beginning of the end of U2.
Dumb And Dumber.
And Wayne’s World.
Tron Legacy
Put in my vote for _Flash Gordon _. Now, look, I love the movie, but the Queen album that goes with it is incredible.
“poet in process - why” from hellboy
Man of Steel. Hans Zimmer goes hard. Zach Snyder goes hard for space dildo man capsules.
O this is an easy one. Bloodsport.
The OST was composed by Paul Hertzog and in my opinion is one of the best soundtracks ever made. It’s what made the movie good in the first place.
Flashdance!
A great movie with an even greater soundtrack:
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. All of the TOS movies have great soundtracks, but The Voyage Home’s score stands out among them. Just that title track, that plays over a flat shot of the fore credits over a starry sky, is this high energy, multi-movement overture that’s more exciting than all Star Trek media made after 2008. We used to have potential as a species.
A shit movie with a legitimately good soundtrack:
Flashdance, of 1983. To quote Todd In The Shadows, “What most people remember about that movie is water, then Maniac right after that, and then about six hours of boring, and then What A Feeling.”
Super Mario Bros.
