After faltering in his plan to found a new ‘America Party’, the world’s richest person is returning to the GOP fold

In the aftermath of his spectacular falling out with Donald Trump last year, Elon Musk blasted the Republican Party as a corrupt force that was “bankrupting” the United States of America.

But now, after months in the political wilderness, the volatile tech baron has indicated that he will once again devote his enormous fortune to electing GOP politicians, this time ahead of the midterm elections in 2026.

“America is toast if the radical left wins,” declared Musk on X Thursday. “They will open the floodgates to illegal immigration and fraud. Won’t be America anymore.”

The joke is he doesn’t need to go “all in” to influence US politics.

We’re surprisingly cheap with above board “donations”. Let’s all pretend that’s all they get.

In the 70s, the FBI ran a sting, bribing government officials (congress, judge, etc). They immediately caught like 30 of them, fish in a barrel. It was called “Abscam”.

Today, donations from Super PACs don’t need to be explained, there is no requirement to divulge. So, they are bribed above board if the charges are “reasonable”, if it’s more expensive to an absurd degree, they use other means.

Let’s say he had to give everyone in leadership of congress and executive and courts a MILLION DOLLARS. He’d still be unfathomably wealthy, he wouldn’t even notice it’s missing.

They’ll sell out usually for five-six figures, or even a lucrative trading tip.

Epstein did a lot of this “lobbying”. Sometimes those who need to be bought have certain secrets they wish to share.

Dude there is no radical left in the US. There’s different flavors of right, one of them is inconvenient to con men. Thats it.

The amount he will spend will be proportionately far less than the rest of us spend on general insurances. He’ll also claim this as a tax deductible. So it gets him further tax savings and keeps him more likely to stay in a position of power and influence. Fuck that. Tax the billionaire class.

Murder the lot. They don’t think twice about killing a worker, we shouldn’t think twice about killing them. It’s self defence really.

Billionaires spending craptons of money convincing poor people that even poorer people are their enemy is never good for the world.

Dear Mr. Musk, who exactly are the “radical left” that you seem to fear so much?

Just a reminder that Elon Musk is an illegal immigrant and a fraud.

If the left in the US was only a tenth as “radical” as they claim, people like Musk and his billionaire friends would have to dodge bullets wherever they go.

I don’t think he specifically means that. Plenty of other people who use the same term do. But he actually likes immigration because it brings salaries down and his businesses depend on a lot of workers.

I’m fairly sure what he means is people who want to raise the minimum wage and oppose abolishing workers protections of different sorts.

Economists don’t all agree that immigration brings wages down. Unemployment is actually up right now and a lack of immigrants is to blame, because they propped the whole system up. Less immigrants = weaker economy.

What brings wages down is the employer concentration, lack of collective bargaining power, and trickle-down economics. Our policies are designed to keep earnings down for the lower classes, so the wealthy ruling class can hoard ever more.

H1B workers, the kind Musk loves, are pretty much stuck with their jobs and get paid less than their more permanently residing counterparts even though they technically shouldn’t. It’s still a huuuuge increase over what they’d get paid back home, of course.

If you let your immigrants freely pick their jobs, they’ll have bargaining power too and thus don’t have to ruin the job market for others by accepting low wages.

Oh, you expect reasonable discussion and general logic from the billionaires that only want to give themselves more money at any expense?

He’ll just harp on with any current buzzwords to get the base riled up over nothing and continuing to vote and act against their best interests.
